Power/Ability: Super Amazing Ability to put up with Tony Stark
Affiliation: Stark Industries
History: She probably had a life before starting at Stark Industries, but there are few who care to hear. A member of the secretarial pool, Pepper didn't attract much attention from the higher ups until she spotted an accounting mistake make by Stark himself, which she was quick to bring to his attention. This saved the company a large sum of money, and Tony was quick to promote her to his personal assistant. Since that point she has been indispensable, managing to get close to Tony. It's an odd relationship, always has been, full of sexual tension, anger and frustration. Pepper falls in and out of lust with Tony, and somehow it never seems to sync up with his moods.
Through Tony, she met Happy Hogan, and with him too, there were conflicting feelings. Pepper rejected him time and time again, but Happy was instant, and rightly so, as after a good time dated they were married, leaving Tony's employ for a short time. The marriage was stressed by their attempts to have children, infertility pulling them apart, and eventually they separated, returning to work for Tony. The divorce was settled not long after, but Pepper still considers him one of her best friends, and their relationship has improved for their having split up.
Character Location: Where ever Tony is/Stark Industries
Character Physical Description: More often then not Pepper has an extremely polished and professional look. Her bright red hair rarely is let down from its bun, and her alabaster skin is dotted with freckles. She works an amazing power suit, and a woman has never got so much done in heels. She has bright blue eyes which are full of personality, and you wouldn't believe the glare they can deliver if you didn't know her.
Character Personality: Determined and organized, Pepper always seems to have a plan (and about fifty back up plans), knowing just what to do and how to get it done. She tries her hardest to keep Tony's head out of the clouds, keeping him 'on schedule'. She's very good at living someone else's life for them, but not so much her own. She is focused, and not even Tony can get her off track.
RP Sample (Third person, at least 300 words):
Pepper glance at her watch, giving a soft sigh and peering out the window, shifting in her seat, fingers pressed into plush leather. The dossier on her lap over balanced and fell into the seat next to her and she moved automatically to straighten it.
She had been waiting for Three. Hours.
And it wasn't as though he was on his way, or stuck in traffic, or had be rerouted. He was right there, in the jet. Had been sitting on the tarmac since they landed three hours ago, and he had not yet emerged. She couldn't imagin- well, no- she could imagine all too well what he was doing in there.
Tapping her fingers along her thigh she spared a final glance at her watch before pressing a button on her head set.
"Hi, yes, me again, sorry, it looks like Mr. Stark will be unable to attend your meeting this afternoon. Something came up at the last moment he simply couldn't get out of, but he sends his deepest apologies," she said, nodding and flipping through the schedule, "Yes, no, he's not available then, no, no, we could do three? Lovely, all right, I've got you penciled in for three. Yes. No problem."
Ending the call, she sighed heavily, slumping in her seat. Happy met her gaze in the rear view mirror, holding up a pack of cards and arching an eyebrow.
